PCDcalc provides accurate distances between UK postcodes at the click of a button. The distances are "as the crow flies", rather than via transport routes, so it is ideal for applications which involve calculations relating to such things as delivery zones, catchment areas or communication line-of-sight distances.
PCDcalc is simple and quick to use, and is a "one-click" application, requiring no installation, just the downloading of a single file onto your PC.
Customised specifically for your needs
PCDcalc can be configured to work in a number of ways.
It can be used where one location is set (i.e. your own postcode) and you just type in other postcodes to work out distances from you to them. This is useful for applications involving such things as delivery zones and catchment areas.
Alternatively, PCDcalc can be configured to work out distances between two postcodes - both of which you type in. Example usage in this case is communications engineers working out line-of-sight distances between nodes.
Distances can be calculated in miles or km, and to a precision of up to 3 decimal places.
